AI Study Tools That Actually Boost Productivity
Before I found out about AI study tools like Crammi, my study methods were all over the place. First off, I procrastinate. Bad. I always find myself waiting until the night before a big exam to open up my notes.
And what happens when I open my notes? My mind blanks. I'm just staring at a bunch of words that I wrote down while half asleep during lecture. Not good. I would try to read them over and over again, top to bottom, but nothing would ever stick.
The fix: Crammi
I just took a screenshot of all my iPad notes and put it into Crammi. The result? A set of 30 flashcards filled to the brim with content. Luckily most of my classes are memorization-based, so just flipping through the flashcards was super helpful.
When I needed to focus on a different topic, I just pressed "upload existing" and inputted new special instructions. It made a brand new revised set instantly for me in seconds.
After I was done memorizing, I went to the next mental step for me—the quiz feature. I took the same notes and uploaded them to Crammi. It gave me a 10-question quiz about the topics I specified to focus on in the special instructions section.
The best part about the quizzes in my opinion are the explanations. Every single answer option on the quiz has its own explanation. It also lets you check your answers as you go instead of waiting until the very end, which got rid of a lot of "test anxiety" I had too.
Finally, I took my notes along with the lecture notes from all the previous classes and uploaded them to make a full-fledged 60-question exam. My real exam was going to be 90 minutes long, and Crammi let me set that exact timer. This might be the best part of Crammi. The testing environment feels EXACTLY like the exams on Quizlet.
You can flag questions, go back, filter questions, and you don't know your results until the very end. It's pretty nerve-racking. But it simulates the real deal. The timer helps me learn about my pacing.
My favorite part
CRAMMI IS SO AFFORDABLE. Their free tier is 3 uploads a month, which is whatever. But you only get limited question caps and flashcards. Their paid tiers cost less than a happy meal.
Other study tools charge you $20-$30 a month... We're students. How are we expected to willingly pay for that? Crammi does the same thing as expensive study tools at a fraction of the price. I love it.
Finally
Just try it out. You have nothing to lose. Not money, not time. The free tier lets you dabble. The AI processing is so fast that you don't even lose your precious time. Crammi has become a real part of my study flow, and I can't imagine a world where I don't load up my flashcard set on the bus to class and knock out some memorizing. If it could help my productivity, it can help you too.
